Solid fuel
Hardwood kindling like our Ooni Premium Assorted Oak Pack and/or lumpwood charcoal. We often use a combination of both.

Gas
To cook with gas use an Gas Burner for Karu 12, Karu 12G and Karu 2 and a tank of propane gas. Not sure which gas tank to use? Read our support article here.

Infrared Thermometer
Check that your baking stone is at least 750°F / 400°C before cooking.

** Ooni Karu 2 cannot be used with solid fuels and gas simultaneously. **
