Pizza.

Just mentioning the word immediately snaps you back to a specific place and time.

Maybe it’s the way the cheese pulls as you take your first bite. Or the way the flavours dance across every taste bud, celebrating the contrasting textures of gooey, melted cheese and crispy crust.

Or maybe it’s not the pizza itself, but the way it makes us feel. Giddy. Gleeful. Content.

If you can’t tell, we’re really into pizza. And we’re on a mission to share that with the world.

Nominate your neighbours in our Slice of Kindness competition.

Joy starts with kindness. When was the last time you saw someone do something kind for another person just for the sake of doing it?

If you know anyone going above and beyond for their community, let us know. Any individuals, groups or organisations in your area that shower your neighbourhood in acts of service might be exactly who we’re looking for.

As a thank you for making the world a little brighter, we’re giving out seven Ooni bundles each in the US, UK and Germany during our Slice of Kindness competition.

We’ll be accepting nominations of your hometown heroes from 26th July through 23th August, then rewarding a few of these good neighbours with the joy of pizza – in the form of the show-stopping Ooni Koda 16 Gas Powered Pizza Oven, two Ooni Koda 12 Gas Powered Pizza Ovens, two authentic Ooni Karu 12 Multi-Fuel Pizza Ovens and two portable Ooni Fyra 12 Wood Pellet Pizza Ovens, alongside must-have accessories. The winners will receive their prizes just in time to keep inspiring the community by hosting a pizza party on Ooni Day.

One of the best things about cooking is connecting with folks and sharing great food – at least, our Ooni community sure seems to think so! We’re so inspired by the way you all come together and cook outdoors, using your imaginations to make incredible, flame-cooked creations year-round.

That’s what inspired Ooni Day. We want our Ooni community to come together to make and share great pizza – safely, of course. Take a pizza to a neighbour or have a small pizza party in the backyard. Get creative and get cooking; in return, we’ll donate £1 to hunger charities for each pizza you make in your Ooni oven.

However you pull it off, sharing that goodness is the order of the day.
