For National Pizza Month, we asked you to vote for your favourite pizza including the dough style, sauce and toppings. What won is an absolute classic and we made it in the office to enjoy for ourselves. Behold, the mighty pepperoni and mushroom pizza, with tomato base and a neapolitan dough!

But what is it that we all love so much about pepperoni? We've come to the conclusion that it's the salt, slight spice and even the sweetness that comes from a cooked slice of pepperoni. It's the perfect flavour combination. Paired with the more-ish taste of umami from the mushrooms and we know why this was chosen as the winner.
